Vivek Chandra, PhD

Mr. Chandra is a recognized international LNG and gas expert, published author (Fundamentals of Natural Gas: An International Perspective, published by Pennwell, USA), and consultant in the fields of gas and LNG commercialization, pricing, project development, training, acquisitions and divestments, fiscal regimes, and engineering. He has over thirty years of global natural gas and LNG technical, financial, commercial and legal experience. His first LNG position was with ARCO Alaska as Commercial Manager for the Alaska LNG project in 1996. He is a US Citizen.

Mr. Chandra has served in executive positions with Nexus Energy (Australia), Dubai Energy and Dolphin Energy (both in UAE), ARCO International Oil and Gas Company (Alaska, California and Texas, USA), and Schlumberger Overseas (USA, Middle East and SE Asia).  Mr. Chandra holds a BSc. degree in Geophysical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, a MSc. in Petroleum Energy Management and Policy from the University of Pennsylvania, a Diplome D'Ingenieur in Petroleum Economics from the French Petroleum Institute (IFP), a Masters in Commercial Law from Deakin University, Australia, and a PhD. in International Law (thesis on UN Law of the Sea and Maritime Boundary Disputes in areas of Hydrocarbon Potential) from Deakin University, Australia.

He is a Fellow at the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators (FSIArb) and an active member of Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (AIPN).  He is also the Chairman of the Melbourne Petroleum Club, a networking association that has held regular events in Melbourne, Australia for over a decade. He is a frequent speaker and instructor at gas and LNG conferences.


Langtry Meyer
Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Meyer has over twenty years’ experience in strategy and business development, having worked with international entities on multi-disciplined projects across the Middle East, Asia Pacific, Africa, Europe, and North America. He has created joint ventures, forged partnerships, and developed new business and strategies with leading global companies such as Carrefour, AIG, Dalkia, Orix Corporation, and JCB across multiple industries including oil & gas,commodities, trading, engineering & construction, financial services, electronics, and retail.

Previously Mr. Meyer served in executive roles with the Majid Al Futtaim Group (UAE), Samsung Engineering (Korea), the Samsung Group Office of the Chairman (Korea), and major financial institutions including ABN AMRO Bank (The Netherlands & France) and Hypo Bank (Germany & USA).

Mr. Meyer has resided in the UK, France, Mexico, Malta, Saudi Arabia, USA, Germany, The Netherlands, Korea, and the UAE. He is a graduate of Stanford University (BA Economics), INSEAD (MBA), and is a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Charter holder. As an athlete Mr. Meyer competed for the England National and Stanford University basketball teams in games and tournaments worldwide.
